Mahadeshwara temple of Chalukyan architecture.
HULGI: Religious
centre on the bank of Tungabhadra river.
ANEGUNDI: Remains
of some magnificent buldings of Vijayanagar dynasty are still traceable
at this place. The Pampa Sarovara, Anjanadri HIll, Lamal Mahal and Nava
Brindavana Which has Samadhis of Some Saints are situated near Anegundi.
KANKAGIRI: The
Kanakachala temple us a fine specimen of South Indian architecture of
the Vijayanagar timers. Kanakagiri temples are a delightful feast for
the tourists. It is situated on Gangavathi - Lingasugur road about 20
Kms from Gangavathi.
