MADIKERI: It is the district centre - home of the martial Kodava community. The fort, Omkareshwara (a Shiva temple in the heart of the city  and a Pilgrim centre) temple and Raja seat are worth visiting. Madikeri district is famous for coffee and orange plantations.

BHAGAMANDALA: Famous for its temple  Bhagandeshwara situated 42 Kms from Madikeri. Conluence of Cauvery, Kannika and Sajjothi rivers.

TALACAUVERY: Birth place of river cauvery which is a famous pilgrim centre of the Kodavas and Hindus.

ABBE FALLS: Natural water falls plunges from a height of 70 feet, located amidst plantations.

NISARGADHAMA: An ideal picnic spot and a place pf scenic beauty.

HARANGI: A dam and picnic spot.

THADIYENDAMOL HILL STATION: This hill station famous for trekking has Nalkanadu palace which once belonged to the Hindu king, Langaraja.
