MYSORE CITY: Called the "City of Palaces", Mysore was the capital of the Wodeyar Kings. The Maharaja's Palace, the Jaganmohan Palace Museum, St.Philomena's Church, Zoo and the Bannimantap are exciting spots.

CHAMUNDI HILLS: A famous temple atop a hill. There is massive stone Nandi at the Hill. A giant Mahishasura statue looms over you.

GOPALASWAMY BETTA (HILL): It is a fine hill resort and a pilgrim centre. On the summit of the hill is the famous Gopala Swamy temple.

SOMNATHPUR: Famous Hoysala temple of Lord Chennakeshava.

TALAKADU: Historic town. Also known as Khajuraho of Karnataka.

NANJANGUD: A famous pilgrim centre. I famous for the Nanjundeshwara temple. This temple is said to be the biggest temple in Karnataka.

KARAPUR: A major jungle resort run by Jungle Lodges and Resorts.

NAGARAHOLE: Famous for wildlife.
